Celebrating Valentine’s Day

“We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an annual holiday celebrated on February 14.

Every February we get a close replicate of the ended festive season. February is the month of love. It is the time to give and extend special treats to our loved ones.

With Valentine’s Day some few days away, it is the right time to surprise your one and only, it is time to show them how much you love them. Of course, there is this sense of special feelings of love one gets to feel when one gets treated better on special days especially valentine’s day. Although most people celebrate Valentine's almost every day, many demonstrate their most hidden feelings of love this special season.

Here are some gifting tips this Valentine's:

1. Expensive is not always right

Many people get this wrong. Expensive gifts do not necessarily make up for perfect gifts and could end up hurting your pocket which is unnecessary.  What matters more than the gift being expensive is the thought with which it was bought.

Besides buying the gift, packing the gift is also equally important. So, make sure you wrap it with extra care and attention because unwrapping the gift is like unwrapping expressions!

  1. Know his / her likes

The little things that your lover likes be it shoes, jewellery, clothes, bags will give you an insight into what they really like. Find out what kind of each item they prefer and buy them a unique set this valentine. This will go a long way.

  1. Singing competition

Songs express feelings and are a good way to engage your special one this valentine. You can choose a song and practice it together then attend a singing competition where you could win various gifts and this will mark your valentine and make wonderful memories.

  1. What is their favourite cuisine?

Find out what your partner really enjoys eating. Then, buy the ingredients required and put in a little effort to make the meal a true success as you experiment your culinary skills. This would be a wonderful idea this Christmas.

  1. Love Notes in Jar

There would probably a better way than writing love notes to purpose your partner. It’s surprising and heart-touching to ask someone for becoming your life partner through this gift for Valentine’s Day.  You can choose one that is best suited to the air of your feelings. This is also a very nice option if you want to say something, passionately but with a surprise element. This set of the gift is offered with pre-ready thoughtful and unique messages. Also, this can be tailored to your unique feelings and personalized according to your suitability.

“There is no remedy for love but to love more.” Henry David Thoreau
